Applications are now open for Southgate vendors interested in participating in the Jingle Jam Christmas Market on November 28. Priority registration runs through September 25, after which applications will open to the general public on September 26. Table fees are $50 each, with all proceeds donated directly to the Salvation Army.

Our Practicing the Way: Generosity Class on Mondays, 6-8pm, is starting on September 28. We will explore what it truly means to a follower of Jesus. Through the practice of generosity, we learn to tap into God’s joy, find freedom from greed through contentment, and embody God’s concern for those in need.

Join us on Sunday, October 4, from 12-1:30pm for a fun (and tasty) Chili Cookoff Fundraiser in support of the Nicaragua Mission Trip! For just $10, you’ll get to sample secret chili recipes and cast your vote to crown Southgate’s Best Chilli Cook of 2026. Tickets are available in the lobby or on ChurchCenter - don’t miss it!

Opening up the Bible can feel intimidating, but understanding God’s word doesn't have to be unapproachable. Join us for Understanding the Bible as we take an in-depth look at its core message, its construction, and how to study scripture together. The class starts October 7 and meets Wednesdays at 6:15pm in Kemptville.

Grief doesn’t follow a linear timeline, and unaddressed loss can quietly weigh on our hearts for years. Join our Grief Class on Thursdays from 6:30-8pm (starting October 8) for a gentle, 4-week life-class designed to offer a safe, supportive space to explore unresolved grief. Together, we will discover how faith, lament, and honest reflection can guide us toward peace and quiet renewal. All are welcome, no matter where you are on your healing journey.

We’re excited to announce our October Potlucks! This is a wonderful opportunity for everyone to build connections, share a meal, and get to know your Southgate family better. All potlucks will take place right after the second service. Plates and utensils will be provided. Please bring a cold dish to share, as heating facilities will not be available.

Ready to step deeper into your calling? Join us for the Called to Greater Things: United for Greater Things Conference on Saturday, October 17, from 9am-3:45pm. Kids and Youth

Sunday Kidville is for babies through grade 6. Check-in before service and pick up immediately following service.

Jr Drive for grades 5 & 6 (now both services!). Kids should head to the room after the first song, and parents can send the check-out sticker if you want them to leave on their own.

The Play Structure is open before and after services on Sunday (from 8:45 - 9am, 10 -10:30am, and 11:30pm-12:30pm). Our regular drop-in times are on Mondays and Fridays, 9:30-11:30am. For further updates, follow the Facebook page “Southgate Play Structure”.

The Play Group for parents of babies - age 4 meets on Wednesdays from 10-11:30am. For further updates, follow our Facebook page, “Southgate Play Group and Strollercize”. 

Kidville needs team members to rotate through every 3-4 weeks on Sunday mornings for one service, in Baby Blvd, Toddler Trail, PK Place, E-Street small group, or assisting in Jr Drive. If you would like to be part of what God is doing in our kids' lives, please fill out our Kidville volunteer application.
